An Inlaid Mahogany Lazy Susan, made in England in the first half of the 20th Century around the 1930s. A Lazy Susan is a round tray that rotates and is designed to sit on a countertop or table and allow multiple diners to access food, condiments and relishes without having to pass them around. This dates to the first half of the 20th century and an ideal dining accessory to adorn any dining room table or kitchen table in any modern or traditional setting.
It’s unclear where the name Lazy Susan came from but it reputedly gains popularity in 13th-century China and has evolved over the centuries finding its way onto European dining tables in the 18th century.
