It is truly a treasure. Made of lead crystal, the jar features intricate geometric cuts that sparkle beautifully in the light.

The sterling silver lid is particularly special, as it has an empty cartouche, allowing you to add your own monogram—a rare find indeed. The craftsmanship of the silver is exquisite, showcasing repousse birds along with elegant scrolls and floral designs.

Upon removing the lid, you'll find hallmarks on the top, as well as assay marks on the back. Please note that inside the lid, a small section of the hardened paste, which helps create a good seal, is missing. However, this does not detract from the beauty of the sterling silver. Additionally, there is a hairline crack on the inside of the glass rim, but it is covered by the lid.
