Hand-carved in the late 1800s from walnut wood, the open lyre legs and accompanying stretchers have been embellished with impressive fretwork. The wide stance of the legs provides ample support to the rectangular top that is adorned with several layers of molding. A rich brown patina accentuates the curves and barbs of the stretcher, while adding depth to the thin molding surrounding the top. Measuring 65 ½ x 27, our versatile Italian Baroque-style table can be used as a small eating table, such as in a breakfast nook, as a living room sofa table, or in the hallway as a console. See less
