A large cluster of fossil clams called Mercenaria Permagna. They are from the Pleistocene Age, 1 million years old. Large clams have fossilized and turned into calcite. They are from a quarry in Fort Drum, Florida which is now closed. Includes clear plastic stand. Measures 11” high and 9 ½” high. Weighs 8.25 pounds.
Difficult to find in a cluster. Good condition; see photos.
