This beauty is really a piece of art that could stand alone as a decor display accent or be used, for its intended purpose as a 5” x 7” picture frame. It will strike a chord with any Etruscan or Byzantine artwork aficionado. Wooden frame has been overlaid with pieces of embossed muti-colored metal that in turn is overlaid by a clear glass mosaic shaped leaded glass covering which makes it shimmer and glow beautifully. Depending on lighting in a room, colors vary from rich subdued warm tones to more vivid hues, gorgeous! The perimeter of the wooden frame’s front has been adorned with raised bead work for a classic finished look; frame has burnished bronze hue on the front, ebony black on the back. This is a tabletop display only picture frame. It measures 12” x 10” H/W; easel back extends 5½”; weight 1 lb. 15 oz.; two-sliding metal holders that swivel up and down to allow removal of the back for placement of photo; clear plate glass on the front. Can be positioned for vertical or horizontal tabletop placement. Will accommodate a 5” x 7” photo or print. In excellent, like new condition. Very well made; made in Spain by an unknown maker. It’s a real head-turner and the perfect backdrop for a “special moment” photo or print.
