We found this image so touching that we wanted to make our own, and worked with our engraver to create this beautiful 14k gold pendant. The pendant has a brushed gold surface with a delicately carved hand engraved bird. The bird has impeccable details in the branches, eye, and dotted wing; it holds an olive branch, which is a symbol of peace, forgiveness, and starting anew. The back of the pendant has a high polish that contrasts the brushed surface of the other side of the medallion. The deep cuts in the gold add flicker and shimmer. Hand engraving is a dying art in today’s jewelry industry, but we have a great engraver with a delicate touch who makes the piece sentimental and dear with his carving.

The medallion measures 3/4” x 1/2”, plus an additional 4 x 7 mm bail. It weighs approximately 2 grams. Unmarked but acid tests as 14k gold. See less
