About The Poster: Original vintage travel poster from 1950, showing a fisherman a young woman by the seaside. Decorative, colorful and in overall very good condition with some minor creasing on the top margin.
In the aftermath of World War II, Holland relied on travel - and sought to increase travelers to the country - so as to boost the economy. This poster, printed in Holland, was part of an effort by the Dutch government to bring visitors from abroad to the Netherlands.
