This exquisite Chinese side chair features a rectangular pierced back with undulating crest, adorned with a central splat adorned with hand-carved motifs. A geometrical shelf is supporting two traditional vases with floral motifs. While the décor is nicely detailed, one cannot but be touched by the purity of the execution. A rectangular planked seat is raised on four straight legs with delicately curved skirts, connected to one another through a cross stretcher.
