Each side of the porcelain vase features different animals using the same style of Derian's signature decoupage technique with cursive script background and hand-painted details. The lively illustrations burst with vibrant colors beautifully depicting each animal in vivid detail. This is an impressive statement piece that would be gorgeous in any room. Hallmarked John Derian on the underside. I find this piece to be more versatile in design with a wide top opening making it easier to insert a plant or flowers than is his version with a ginger jar narrow opening and lid.
