These were used paired … Read more Rarely seen Don Knorr for Vista of California architectural modernist iron and ribbon mahogany head board. These were used paired with a king sized mattress. Each headboard attached to its own separate twin mattress frame and box springs then the two were pushed together and topped with a king size mattress. The previous owner related this was how the bed was originally designed and sold so they could also be separated and used as two separate twin beds. Each individual headboard as pictured measures approx. 37.5” wide, 33.5” tall, and 1” deep (actual height would be taller depending on height mounted to matress frame) and together with the king size mattress headboard measured approx. 77” long.

Condition is very good overall showing minor scuffing to the floating ribbon mahogany panel and some losses to the black enamel finish. Headboards only, no mattress frames, each with 3 mounting bolt holes to legs to allow mounting to bed frames at different heights. See less
