Beautiful, art deco, ceramic set of three pieces, produced by la céramique montoise (c.m.), a belgian ceramics manufacturer in mons, … Read more Beautiful, art deco, ceramic set of three pieces, produced by la céramique montoise (c.m.), a belgian ceramics manufacturer in mons, (known as "bergen" in dutch) established in 1920, and active until about 1949.

pieces made by this producer, were typically characterized by hand-painted motifs and vibrant color palettes, reflecting the art deco style of the epoch. This trio, consisting of a tray, a pot/box with a lid, and smaller, open pot/box, is most definitely representative of the period, showcasing beautiful, hand-painted, multi-colored, floral designs. All three pieces are octoganal-shaped (see photos.)

- a maker's mark, "cm bergen," is both present and numbered ("827" & "207") under the base of the tray (see photos.)
- both pots, are embossed with the number "827", under their bases (see photos.)

the set is in very good, original and vintage condition, with light marks, signs of age and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a patina time, on the overall surfaces, edges, sides, pot lid, inside of pots, and bases, as can be expected for pieces of this age (see photos.) they have only been gently dusted, with respect to their original patina of time.
