Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown aqua and gold flecks Italian art glass ribbed and scalloped rim bowl. Attributed to the Barovier and Toso company. The bowl has a flared out rim with aqua blue-green color on the edge, with folds in the middle. The bowl is profusely covered in heavy gold leaf, with a gold rope "Cordonato d'Oro" design on the surface. Would make a great display piece on any coffee table, credenza or dresser. Use it as a catchall, candy dish, or just display it as a sculptural piece. Mid-century era. Measures 7 1/4" long x 4 1/2" wide across the rim x 3 1/2" at highest point.
