This pair of antique Swedish chairs is from northern Sweden and are authentic country furniture. Made by hand in solid pine. The chairs have a classic rococo shape with curved legs and backrests. Hand carved wooden decorations in the shape of shells. The pair are scraped by hand down to the first original paint from the 1700s. The paint is worn and distressed so the pine underneath shines through in places, especially on the seats. Healthy and stable, in usable condition. The seats are 48 and 38 cm wide respectively.
