A wonderful and large antique French quilt dating c1920. This charming quilt has the most wonderful paisley inspired, Indienne pattern! The fabric is a satinized cotton, with pink cotton backing. This quilt is French and is machine quilted and stitched. Ive freshly laundered this charming quilt and its ready to use. There is a thick wool batting on this quilt that bunched a bit when washed, the sections of wool are nicely contained in the quilting, however the wool in each quilted segment bunched a bit (Im being a bit picky, but!: )) This is a large and heavy weight quilt! wonderful for keeping warm this winter! (EQ 1)
Measurements: This lovely textile measures 85 inches by approx. 89 inches
Condition: This lovely quilt is freshly laundered and ready to use! The backing is a bit unevenly faded with time, wonderful condition (please see above about the wool!) there are some very minor flaws, generally in fabulous condition for its age indeed!
