The seat and back are upholstered in the original green velvet, with square tufting . At times with the lighting the shine of the velvet fabric looks like a dark chartreuse . The frame is made of walnut with caned “wings” and a serpentine skirt that meets short cabriole legs. Very comfortable chairs . See less
