A fine Smith Sectric electric mantel clock from the 1940s, beautifully styled in the Art Deco tradition. Smiths, one of Britain’s leading clockmakers, introduced the “Sectric” line to bring reliable electric timekeeping into the home, combining precision engineering with fashionable design.
This example features a peach-toned mirrored glass dial, a luxurious and uncommon variation that radiates warmth and elegance. The dial is accented by bold deco numerals and silvered hands, all set within a geometric stepped form. The mirrored face rests on a streamlined black base, creating a strong contrast that emphasizes the modernity of the design.
Chairish sells clocks only with display as the intended use. The mechanical elements are not guaranteed to be in working order by Chairish.
