Very unique antique (late 19th to early 20th century) table or mantel clock in the Japonisme style, possibly of continental origin, in the form of a Japanese drum or barrel on stand, exceptionally modeled and cast with repeating flowering vine motif and a dark brown patina. Height: 13 1/4 in (33.6 cm). It has a brass 8 day time-only movement with cylinder platform escapement that is apparently unsigned. In very good condition with crack to the glass and wear to the dial.
Chairish sells clocks only with display as the intended use. The mechanical elements are not guaranteed to be in working order by Chairish.
