Hand-crafted in Japan in the late 19th / early 20th century, the lovely small scale Asian antique features hand-painted flowers, gilt, and patinated brass mounted accents throughout. Distinctive rectangular form with single door opening to reveal three stacked drawers, folding carrying handle on top, and figural portrait in traditional attire. circa 1890-1920
