These bronze lions are referred to as bookends, but are not limited to that use. When found at an estate outside of New Orleans, they were stationed on an entry table guarding a display of collectibles.
The lions are lying on a monument style resin base, which is decorated with a laurel swag.
On close examination, each lion is slightly different. One appears to be sleeping and the other is awake. A wonderful pair to display!
