The floral and foliate motif of this whimsical hand painted wall plate appears to have been inspired by the enchanting Umbrian mountains plains near Castelluccio di Norcia, Italy. With subdued shades of pinks, yellows, purples and greens on an intentionally crazed off white background, the Umbrian bouquet-hued floral motif reflects a chic antiquity look-and-feel. This beauty measures 8½” x 8½” x 1¼” W/H/D; weight 13 oz. Deruta has over 200 ceramic workshops, so that this wall plate is unmarked is not unsurprising. There are two holes on the back which will allow you to hang, if you wish, or simply place on a plate stand for a beautiful display on a shelf or tabletop While the plate stand is not included, the gold-tone plate handle is. In excellent condition with minimal age-appropriate wear. If you’re a reticulated plate collector, this colorfully arranged beauty will complement most any design style and should be a must have!
