Heavyweight woven fabric in good condition. The chair frame is 1910s fruit or walnut wood and has been tightened and reupholstered in recent times. The frame has an original paint finish in a very worn condition, showing the worn areas of the paint over the good wooden surface. ( for its' size this is a heavy chair; the wood seems to have been walnut) Very strong and fresh in a very refined taste. Size is 35.5" tall. 24" wide arm to arm, the seat is 17" tall and 19" front to back. ( not petite, but not the modern big scale chair) The dust screen is clean and good, with a small punch towards the front. A smart desk chair. See less
