Antique 19th Century Hand-Carved Chinese Wooden Offering Basket with Design
19th century Chinese offering basket hand-carved in wood. This refined basket features a circular flat base with a design and with a small raised edge, and a squat carved handle. The handle displays carved scroll details evoking foliage. This basket was hand-carved in wood and varnished in a dark hue. Such baskets were used as offering baskets in China. This 19th century Chinese hand-carved dark wooden offering basket would be an elegant addition.
Measures 14" diameter and 12" tall with the brass handle up.
