The Modernist exhibition poster print is published by The Fundacio Joan Miro Parc De Mont Juic Barcelona. Printed in Spain in 1993 in an unnumbered limited edition on the occasion of the centenary of Joans Miro's date of birth. The foundation that bears his name celebrated in 1993 a complete anthological exhibition in which it was possible to view some of the artist's most significant works.

Joan Miro ( 1893 - 1983 ) The Spanish born painter, sculptor, and ceramicist of Jewish descent os considered to be one of the most important Abstract artists of all time. Earning international acclaim, his work has been interpreted as Surrealism, and breaking through the boundaries of the traditional concepts of the composition of an aesthetic image. He had significant influence on the late 20th century Abstract Expressionist artists. The artworks of Miro are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.

The large format rare out of print collector's framed exhibition poster print measures 26 3/4" W X 36" h X 1" D. It is period custom framed with plexiglass in a classic Modern polished brass gold tone finish metal frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
