Splatterware (Spode) was made in England for America between 1800-1850.
Uses a technique where glaze was splattered or sponged on.
A small piece of rubber was put on the bottom on each plate, creating small dots that verify the authenticity of the plates.
This set includes 12 large plates with fluted edges.
Each plate measures 11" Diameter.
Only one plate has a chip
