Having a clean brilliant emerald dark jade green glass color with carved alabaster white overlay carved design . Inspired by the iconic moser bohemian glass masterpieces of the 19th century French Baccarat produced a limited number of important art glass pieces such as this vase for the very affluent of clients and outdid the bohemian Austrian moser examples with higher quality richer crystal and more precise diamond carved overlay patterns deeper into the glass for a more compelling effect ( see images) .
