The quailty draws attention to the ingenuity of its construction, consisting of staves (planks/slats) of wood bound with hand forged iron rings. Having a shaped wooden handle with a ring in the center, indicative of use as a bucket that would be attached to a rope and used to bring water up from the bottom of a well.

The 140 year old antique water bucket was built to last, as it's fully functional today and should continue to be throughout the next century;

This is such a unique shape and size, it's great for filling with apple for use as a fruit bowl, on a shelf or wall hanging kitchen decor, or overflowing with flowers as a planter. The bucket adds lovely contrast to a formal garden or contemporary bath. See less
