A 1980s Brutalist occasional chair attributed to Italian artist and designer Luigi Serafini for Sawaya & Moroni. The artisan-made, iron silhouette features a whimsical abstract form with a circular backrest and ball details. Its pleated rush velvet cushion is soft to the touch and beautifully complements the industrial frame. Italy, 1980s.
Condition: Great overall vintage condition. The iron frame displays an aged patina throughout that has naturally developed overtime. This chair has been reupholstered by our team of restorationists in rust velvet fabric. The round headrest is detachable.
