Charming chateau in a lush field filled with flora and fauna. Floral border filled with a variety of small animals including a hedgehog, beetle, rabbits and butterflies. Beautiful vibrant dark greens, yellows, blues and burgundy only slightly faded by age. Artists name stitched on lower left hand side and pattern name stitched on lower right hand side. Sourced in Paris. This is an antique larger size tapestry wall hanging. See less

- This tapestry is over 100 years old and does show signs of all over wear and use. This piece should … moreThis tapestry is over 100 years old and does show signs of all over wear and use. This piece should be handled with care when hanging. This piece does not have hooks attached for hanging. There are several areas of separation and broken stitches. Wear to the corners. Some minor areas of darkness and discoloration. The tapestry has all over old repairs, where areas of separation have been sewn back together by hand, please see last photo. The last 6 photos are of the tapestry hanging in the showroom from lucite clips. Please look closely at all photos and message me if more information or photos are needed. less
