A magnificent floral still life oil painting in original gold leaf frame. Judging by the nailheads on the sides of the canvas, this was probably made sometime between 1790-1810. The brilliant colors of the roses in the tall urn against the black background make this piece dramatic and eye catching. Beautiful patina and wear add to its aged appeal. Unsigned.
