Donald Ross 19th Century Inlaid Porcelain & Ormolu Mounted Desk Bonheur Du Jour
Dimensions : 50" Tall X 42" Wide X 23" Deep
This gorgeous desk was made in England in the late 19th century by Donald Ross. Ross has a pair of nightstands in the Victoria & Albert Museum which were acquired by the museum in 1911 and were originally thought to be 18th century French as the quality was incredible It wasn't until the museum was informed in 1928 by Ross's son that they found out he had made them. The quality of this desk is outstanding on par with top Ébénistes of the time period!
