Offered here are TWO rare antique stoneware oval platters manufactured by Wedgwood in their Asian Chinoiserie pattern (G265) some time … Read more Offered here are TWO rare antique stoneware oval platters manufactured by Wedgwood in their Asian Chinoiserie pattern (G265) some time between 1863 and 1899. On the backs, both of these platters bear an impressed WEDGWOOD mark, as well as the handwritten number A2202 and other jobber marks. (Some of the jobber marks are very subtle and hard to photograph, but I've done my best). The large platter measures 16 1/2 X 14, and the slightly-less-large one measures 14 1/2" X 12".

No chips, cracks, or evidence of unusual wear on either one of these. Best of all, no staining! A few very light utensil marks that you have to turn to the light and look closely to see. Absolutely lovely.
