Her much exaggerated large black hair … Read more This 7 inch high pretty Sosaku (creative) style Kokeshi dolls has a sweet face.. Her much exaggerated large black hair compliments the her form. Her inner robe has a black trim that stands out from the kimono that fades from red to black. On the front of her kimono is a spray of grass over fallen flower blossoms, a poetic illustration that is unknown. Tiny spiral rings cover the entire body, adding interest. The outstanding feature of her face are the downcast eyes which made the absence of facial features unimportant. A paper seal with information pertaining to the maker is attached to the base.
