So rare to find a Brazilian rosewood (the wood of kings) L. XV bed, almost all were lovely walnut. Deep burgundy brown striped rosewood, solid on the frame and bookmatched parquetry on the panels, all hand carved (not the easiest wood to carve!) crown and acanthus leaf shoulders, carved cabriole legs ending in scroll feet.
Footboard height: 38.5
Size is perfect for a full mattress but we've sold 100s of these as overstuffed queens as seen in many linen ads.
You can use the footboard for a headboard on another bed as well!
Just hand waxed, no side rails so mount to your metal bed frame with included brackets or directly to the wall for the headboard.
