Elegant trio of antique English porcelain bone dishes; originally used adjacent to a dinner plate to collect bones from the fish or meat being served. Now they are wonderful for salads or other side dishes. Fabricated at the well-known J&G Meakin pottery works founded in 1890 at Hanley England. Mark en verso of J&G Meakin Ltd.; Royal Semi-Porcelain, England dates the pieces to between 1907 and 1921.
Very good antique condition with no chips, no cracks, no crazing. Minor gilt wear befitting items over 100 years old.
