This doll differentiates from other Usaburo (creative) style Kokeshi dolls is the her height. Her much exaggerated longer hair accentuates her slender form as does her long neck. The redness of her hair compliments her kimono of the same color but of a darker shade. On the front of her kimono, trefoil leaves, floral spears and blades of grass decorate. The outstanding feature of her face are the downcast eyes. A ribbon like ornament sits on top of her head. A paper seal with information pertaining to the maker is attached to the base.
Dating: after 1970's
Dimension: 12 inches
Condition: there are small dings on the circular base. The back of the doll is lighter in color, not sure if that was intended or bleached by the sun.
