These large … Read more Offering a pair of rare LARGE French Porcelain de Paris Table Lamps imported by Paul Hanson, circa 1970s. These large and heavy lamps are done with a French Chinoiserie design known as Fleur de Tabac, or "Tobacco Leaf" in English.

The large porcelain white hexagonal shaped temple jars are often mistaken as Japanese Imari porcelain, but this unique design with leaves, thistles and flowers is well documented as "Fluer de Tabac" by Porcelain de Paris, Paris, France. These lamps were made in 1973 to commemorate the Bicentennial of the Porcelain de Paris Company. as shown in the last photo from on-line documentation.

SHADES NOT INCLUDED

EXCELLENT RESTORED CONDITION. New clear electrical cords, New internal brass sockets, New harps and New finials. Some minor tarnishing spots on brass base as seen in the photos. Designer/Decorator ready.

These lamps are substantial enough for a large living room. A wonderful pair of lamps that will fit into any decor, but specially suited for the Palm Beach Chic, Chinoiserie or Luxury Regency style decor.

As you can see from the size, weight and photos, these 1970s Paul Hanson lamps are top shelf, high end luxury of its time and still carries on today. Very nice condition.
