They are finished in black paint, and are stamped on the backs Leach & Thompson Ltd, Chapel Foundry Keighley, West Yorkshire, England. The foundry has been in business since the 1930's and is still in the same foundry in Keighly. Leach & Thompson are still known for their highly detailed castings of excellent quality. This pair of lions would look great on a mantle, or in any display where a little whimsy is called for. See less
