This is an antique schoolmaster's chair. An English, stout oak desk or elbow seat, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.
Superb chair, of thick stocks and institutional appeal
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order

Gently angled back rest, the crest rail between a pair of square cut finials
