Louis XVI style clock in gilded bronze and porcelain: the base is richly decorated with putti heads, garlands of flowers, bows and rosettes, and porcelain plaques decorated with gilded foliage on a pink background around the edge. The dial is delicately decorated with putti and flowers.
This clock is topped with a pink porcelain covered vase, held on each side by bronze mermaids.
Beautiful quality bronze work and porcelain decoration, wear, old restorations to the base, the lid of the vase and the neck of the vase; a few enamel beads missing.
The porcelain plates are numbered and bear the HD mark.
Mechanism not guaranteed, needs servicing - sold as is.
