The bottle here is a mustard yellow infused with patches of rust. The combination is an inspiration for an Abstract Expressionist painting in the style of Jackson Pollock. This is a newer snuff bottle. Its shape is a flattened globular shape, with sloping shoulders and tapering towards the raised oval foot. The top is flat with a centered opening. It is hollowed out, the weight is not heavy for a bottle of this size. It is matched with a carnelian agate stopper. See less
