A Royal Copenhagen porcelain Flora Danica plate, the center decorated with a flowering plant, The Mountain Avens (Dryas Octopetala), within an ornate gilt decorated border. The Mountain Avens, an eight petal flower, is the National Flower of Iceland. Base with Factory mark for period 1923 to 1935, initials E K, and the numbers 1942 (or possibly 1947) which could be a kiln batch number, a work number etc. A rare piece to add to your collection.
