Italian modern light beige Soriana armchairs, Afra Tobia Scarpa, Cassina, 1970s Pair of armchairs, Soriana model, with padding contained by … Read more Italian modern light beige Soriana armchairs, Afra Tobia Scarpa, Cassina, 1970s Pair of armchairs, Soriana model, with padding contained by elements in chromed steel rod and covering in white bouclé fabric tending towards beige. Produced by Cassina in 1970 ca. and designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa. Good condition, some signs of use and time especially regarding the shape of the sides and the steel, slightly oxidized. Measurements in cm 98x86x64h Beautiful and iconic pair of Soriana armchairs by the couple, in life and art, of the masters Afra and Tobia Scarpa. Recently reupholstered but very used, they have some defects that can be easily fixed but they are usable and very beautiful even like this, especially thanks to this off-white tone of bouclé fabric, very soft. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
