Documented to … Read more Elegant and large, vintage Murano hand blown opalescent blue and gold flecks Italian art glass cornucopia flower vase. Documented to designer Archimede Seguso, circa 1955. The vase design is published in his book (see info below). The piece also has two original labels. An artist label that reads "Archimede Seguso - Murano - Made In Italy" on top and a smaller red "Murano - Made in Italy" label underneath. The color goes from a softer opal blue to a rich sapphire blue. The vase is profusely covered in gold leaf. The bade is clear and has 3 gold leafs attached to it as well. Gorgeous collectors item. Would make a great centerpiece on any table, credenza or dresser. Fill it with flowers or display it as a sculptural piece. Mid-century era. Measures 11 1/2" tall x 6" wide.
