Documented to master designer … Read more Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown black and white ribbons Italian art glass cupped rim flower vase. Documented to master designer Dino Martens for the Aureliano Toso workshop circa 1950s. Published design is in many books and catalogs. The vase has a ribbon pattern called "Mezza Filigrana" with a line of glittery copper aventurine dividing the colors, completing the design. The black color, when stretched out, like in the middle of the body, turns to purple (see close up photos). The vase might have had a stopper at one time, from the worn inside glass (see last photo). Would make great display piece on any desk, vanity or coffee table. Fill it with flowers, or showcase it as a decorative piece for your home. Mid-century era. Collectors item! Measures 10 3/4" tall x 4" across the body.
