This inkwell has large cold painted feather with a well painted claw holding a pressed glass ink well. The piece is probably from the 19th century. Missing a part as evidenced by the holes. The claw could probably be removed and re-mounted if desired.

Condition: Heavy wear to the cold painted surface on the leave and wear to the silverplate on the inkwell lid. Missing an element that mounted on the leaf.
