Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown blue and gold flecks Italian art glass applied feathers decorative bowl. Documented to designer Archimede Seguso. Similar from this series, with applied decoration, is featured on a candlestick in the Seguso book (see info below). The bowl has 2 blue feathers on the surface, large and three-dimensional. Nicely detailed, and profusely covered in gold leaf. The bowl itself is made with thick and transparent glass. The rim is 1/2 inch thick. Heavy for its size. Would make a great display piece on any vanity, desk or coffee table. Use it as a catchall, or candy dish. Mid-century era. Measures 5" long x 4 1/2" wide x 3" tall.
