Beautiful, extra large, vintage Murano hand blown Sommerso golden yellow, orange over red, Italian art glass flying duck centerpiece sculpture. Documented to designer Archimede Seguso. The bird is substantial, and has its wings outstretched with tail up like the duck is coming in for a landing. The bird stands on a thick glass large oval shape base. Would make a great display piece on any dinning table, console or credenza. It is made with solid glass, so it is heavy. Mid-century era. Measures 12" tall x 12 3/4" long x 11" wide.
