It is … Read more This Really is a Great Looking and Quite Rare Authentic Antique 2 Gallon Dairy Farm Milk Measure Bucket. It is Completely Hand Made out of Thick - Heavy Gauge Solid Copper. NOTE That the Base - Lower Exterior Perimeter has a Rivet Attached Solid Brass Band - Ring. It has a Swing Carry Handle that is Mounted with its Original Lathe Turned Wood Handle. There is a Solder Attached Label Stamped with the Number 2 Indicating its Liquid Capacity. This Measure was Designed for Accuracy - Note that it has a Small Weights and Measures Assayers Stamp - Mark on the Top of the Spout as a Guarantee. There is Also a Soldered Embossed Makers Label Attached that Reads - CHAS. G. SCHENCK MANUFACTURER COLUMBUS OHIO PATENT NOV. 8 - 1898. It is in Strong and Sound All Original - Untouched - Just Exactly as it Has Survived Over the Years Condition. It is Quite Tarnished - Needs a Good Cleaning & Polishing. Made for Utilitarian Purposes it has Acquired an Assortment of Age and Use Related Dents & Ding Etc.
