An excellent and large dreamstone depicting a mountainous river landscape. Mined from the Cangshan mountain in Yunnan province, the marble is carved through its various layers to reveal an image of the exact mountains where it originated.
China, Yunnan province, Dali prefecture, Republic period. The marble stone is 9 1/4" tall by 7 1/2" wide. With the stand it is 10 1/4" tall.
