Upholstered in a colorful printed linen, each chair features exquisitely carved aprons and cabriole legs. An elaborate cartouche found at all sides includes a central shell-form surrounded by floral and acanthus detail, while a panelized pin-cushion motif leads the eye around these striking chairs. Tight backs defined by linen welt are embracing while down-filled cushions invite stylish repose. An older paint finish in pewter tones has lightly worn to reveal original gilt below, creating a wonderful depth to these fine and comfortable chairs. See less
